Suncoast Signature Cup Raises $200,000 to Support Life-Saving Swim Lessons and Water Safety Education Across Southwest Florida
Second annual charity golf tournament doubles prior-year fundraising impact, supporting nine swim schools and helping more than 1,000 children become safer in and around the water.
NAPLES, FL — August 25, 2026 — Suncoast Custom Pools is proud to announce the extraordinary success of the 2nd Annual Suncoast Signature Cup, which raised $200,000 to support life-saving swim lessons and water safety education for children across Southwest Florida.
This year’s tournament doubled the fundraising impact of the inaugural event, which raised $100,000 in support of swim lessons and water safety programming. Through Suncoast Custom Pools’ partnership with Step Into Swim, the 2026 Suncoast Signature Cup will help impact nine swim schools and provide more than 1,000 children with greater access to the skills, confidence, and education needed to stay safer in and around the water.
“This is bigger than golf,” said Josh McKenna, Owner and CEO of Suncoast Custom Pools. “This is lives changed, families impacted, and a community coming together for something that truly matters. Childhood drowning is preventable, and we are incredibly proud that the Suncoast Signature Cup is helping expand access to swim lessons and water safety education across Southwest Florida.”
The Suncoast Signature Cup was created as an extension of Suncoast Custom Pools’ ongoing commitment to water safety and community impact. Through the company’s Pools with a Purpose initiative, Suncoast donates a package of swim lessons to a child in need for every new pool the company builds. The tournament expands that mission by bringing together sponsors, players, volunteers, donors, and community partners for a day of golf, camaraderie, and purpose.
Held at The Quarry Golf Club in North Naples, the event brought the community together around a mission that is especially meaningful in Southwest Florida, where life is closely connected to the water. One hundred percent of tournament proceeds support programs that provide swim lessons, water safety education, and resources for children and families throughout the region.
A key driver of this year’s impact was the support of Step Into Swim, the tournament’s Official Donation Matching Partner, which helped amplify every dollar raised through a generous matching commitment. POOLCORP also served as Title Sponsor and largest contributor, helping make the event possible and expanding its reach throughout the community.
“We are beyond grateful for every sponsor, player, volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped make this possible,” McKenna added. “Because of this community, more children will have access to lessons that can save lives. We are proud of what we accomplished together, and even more excited for what’s ahead.”
The 2nd Annual Suncoast Signature Cup reflects Suncoast Custom Pools’ belief that building pools also comes with a responsibility to promote safety, education, and confidence around the water. With support from partners across the pool, construction, real estate, and business communities, the event continues to grow as a signature fundraiser dedicated to creating safer swimmers and stronger families across Southwest Florida.
