Our Team

Josh McKenna didn’t step into the pool business from a distance. He grew up in it.

Born in New York and raised in Naples, Josh began learning the trade as a child—plastering pools, painting decks, and seeing firsthand what separates a finished project from a well-built one. That field experience still shapes how he leads Suncoast Custom Pools® today.

As owner, Josh brings an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach to the company’s growth. He is focused on scaling the business without compromising the standards that made Suncoast Custom Pools® trusted in the first place: clear communication, dependable timelines, careful craftsmanship, and accountability after the job is done.

Under his leadership, Suncoast Custom Pools® has continued to strengthen its reputation as a custom pool builder in Southwest Florida, serving homeowners, builders, and commercial clients with new pool construction, renovations, spas, water features, and complete outdoor living transformations.

Josh has maintained Suncoast Custom Pools®’ reputation by keeping the company grounded in a few non-negotiables: staying close to the work, building strong trade relationships, communicating clearly with clients, and making sure each project is managed with ownership rather than handoff. Customer review patterns consistently highlight proactive updates, fast responses, reliable schedules, clean execution, and a team that stands behind the work.
